I started this year with Day 1 of this little man. He is my favorite little man ever. I hate the pacifier, but who could resist those eyes?

My sole purpose in going to Chicago was to go to the skydeck at Willis Tower. This was as close as I got. Oh well, I guess there is always another time.

I had this great idea for a present for Dick. I found a tutorial on making a portrait canvas. My plan was to take a great picture of the grandkids and try it. Yesterday, I went over and fixed the girls hair and put them in Christmas shirts and started shooting. I must have taken 50 shots. Do you think I could get one clear, clean shot? Heck no!! This is the best one. They look adorable, but it isn't clear enough to blow up big. Maybe we can try again for Dick's birthday next month or Father's Day. Or maybe when they are teenagers and realize that you can't have constant motion and still get a great picture. But really, aren't they the cutest things ever?!?!

I received two of the most special thank you drawings in the mail yesterday. They were from my friends Bridger and Ashton. They are 8 year old twins from North Dakota. Christmas program 2011 is in the books and this might possibly have been the cutest little angel ever. Gosh, I love this girl! She sang her heart out.

This is my new tree. It is prelit and doesn't have as many lights as my old one, but I still like it. I just have to get used to the white lights. I've always had colored before.
